Gustav stood safely between Tom and I as he joined us in the living room. I smiled at him.
“Hey.” Gustav looked at me, and smirked quickly. He promptly turned his attention back to Sonnie and Abby. If I didn’t know better, I’d say he thought they’d get up at a moments notice and attack him. Honestly though, I wouldn’t put it past them.
“So, Sonnie and Abby are friends of Tom and Bill’s.” Georg started, leaning against the wall near us. “They’re staying here for a while.”
